Almond Crusted Cedar Plank Salmon

INGREDIENTS

1 Plank Salmon

1/8 Cup Ground Almonds

R

1 Pinch Chopped Parsley

R

1 Finely Chopped Garlic Clove

1 Portion of Rice

COOKING STEPS

Plank Salmon

1 plank salmon lightly coated with olive oil, 1/8 cup ground almonds, 1 pinch chopped parsley, 1 garlic clove finely chopped, salt and pepper. Season with vodka lemon pepper and butter herb wedges.  Squeeze fresh lemon on top and bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 min.

Broccoli

Get a pot with about an inch or two of boiling water. Put a strainer or steamer tray on the pot (not touching the water). Place broccoli in the streamer and cover with lid for 5-10 minutes or until desired texture. Season with Butter Herb.

Rice

Bring water to a boil (2 parts water, 1 part rice). Once water is boiling, add  rice, cover, and reduce to simmer. Simmer for 45 minutes, without opening pot. After 45 minutes, turn off heat and let sit for 15 minutes. Do not open pot until the 15 minutes are over. Open pot and fluff the rice.
