Feast Mode Meatballs

INGREDIENTS

490g of Ground Pork

R

500g of Ground Beef

R

1 Large Green Onion

R

1/4 Cup Asian Fusion

R

3 tbs Sugar Free Orange or Tangerine Jelly

R

2 tbs Liquid Coconut Aminos

R

1/4 tbs Sesame Oil

R

1 tbs Asian Fusion

R

1/2 tsp Sweet Heat

R

1 tbs Hawaiian BBQ

R

1 tsp Organic Corn Starch

INSTRUCTIONS

• Preheat oven to 400°F

 

• Mix all ingredients well
 
• Form mix into balls of your desired size (I did 50g each, yield 20 balls)
 
• Line a baking tray with aluminum paper and place the balls on the tray
 
• Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes,
 
• Set the oven to “broil” and cook for about 7 minutes or until golden brown
 
• Turn the balls over and broil for another 5-7 minutes
 
• Collect the liquid from the tray, if you are concerned about keeping the recipe low-fat, place the liquid in a mason jar and refrigerate to allow the fat to separate, discard the fat
 
 
 
Preparation of the sauce:
 
• In a skillet place all the ingredients (except corn starch) and bring to a quick boil
 
• Add corn starch and cook on low heat for about 3 minutes
 
• Strain the liquid and add your meatballs to the sauce to coat well, serve with rice, pasta or veggies.
